Evan, let's be best friends. The first paragraph of this entry defines my LIFE. I am probably worse at math than you are, but without writing I would have no identity.

And as a response to your comment on "Where The Wild Things Are" -- Even if the movie blows major chunks, that will be my favorite of all time. And I cannot wait to buy the soundtrack so I can have their version of Arcade Fire's "Wake Up"; the original version of the song is just not the same as the one in the trailer.

I remember that feeling of wanting to transfer to a bigger city. I'm hopefully spending next spring in Washington DC to give it a shot even though I would never fully transfer from here. Think about it since there are at least three programs that I know of that offer classes, research and internships for a semester for students at other schools.

I too saw that trailer when I saw that movie and it brought back many childhood memories of dad reading the book to me.
Im really excited for it but i hope they dont ruin it!

While we didn't have quite as many TVs in our house, ER was the first "real" (not on Nickelodeon) show I started watching. My mom got me into it and I guess i've technically been watching it for more than half my life ;-)

I'm catching up on your blog... I'm also a huge Joss Wheadon fan. I never did Buffy, but I loved Firefly and have been waiting for Dollhouse to come out. And now I love dollhouse (speaking of, i can prob download tonight's episode now...)

I know exactly what you are feeling. I had a California playlist too. I still get that feeling that I have been away for too long but now I also get it in LA when I am there for a while because I really miss school. It's an odd feeling that is really hard to put into words
